ShopManila, Inc. is a distributor and retailer of both local and international labels. The business was incorporated in May 2004 to introduce fashion and lifestyle brands to the Philippine retail market. ShopManila’s head office is located in the Ortigas Center business district and operates the business with about 30+ employees. The team has extensive experience in providing quality fashionable merchandise, exemplary customer service and management of retail outlets in the Philippines.

We currently own the schu franchise for the Philippines and we operate seven (7) of its nine (9) boutiques. Four (4) stores and an outlet store are located in Metro Manila, the political, economic, social, and cultural center of the Philippines. Two (2) branches are in the provincial areas - one in Cebu, a metropolitan city in the central Visayas region and another in Davao, a thriving city in the Southeastern part of the Philippines.

We are the exclusive franchisee of schu, a brand of women’s footwear that was born in the year 2004. In Asia, the label is present in Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Bangkok, and Japan. In a span of barely 3 years, schu opened 6 branches located at:

Glorietta 3, SM Mall of Asia, TriNoma, Chimes Davao, Shangri-la Mall* and Robinson’s Galleria* (*these branches are sub-franchisees). It created a regular following of loyal customers who appreciated the unique European style and comfortable shoes that schu offers.

schu is regularly featured in the best Philippine fashion magazines such as Preview, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Mega and Meg. schu has also been featured in several dailies such as the Philippine Star, the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Manila Bulletin, the Manila Standard, the Inquirer’s Just Shop, and the online magazine www.stylebible.ph

It has been chosen as one of the featured retail establishments in MTV’s Fashionista, ANC’s Business Nightly and ANC Money. schu has also been recognized as one of the Most Promising Retailers of 2004 and received the Store Operations Excellence Award (2005) from the Ayala Malls. Recently, schu was honored with the Marketing Partner award (2009) by the Ayala Malls in recognition of its consistent efforts in marketing the brand in conjunction with the mall’s numerous marketing activities.
