The School of Education and Human Development (SED) has been accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Provider for three years, effective last February 3. There are only 10 PRC-accredited CPE Providers for professional teachers, including SED, so far.
SED can now grant CPE units through its nondegree courses, seminars, and conferences. Professional teachers, as well as other practitioners of regulated professions, need a minimum of 60 CPE units along with other requirements for the renewal of their PRC licenses every three years.
