Ways to help

Live UNITAS.

You can help UA&P everyday. Yes, everyday, by living the spirit of UNITAS very well. The best service that the alumni can do is to live UNITAS in an exemplary way—being hardworking, being of service to others, doing everything for love of God—amidst their personal environment, thereby setting a visible goal for others to aspire for. And yup, we know it sounds corny, but it's true.

Invite others to study in UA&P

Sharing what you got from your University comes with inviting others to enroll in UA&P as well. Whether it be for an undergraduate or graduate program, each enrollee you refer is a great help to the University. Is there anything you need so that you can easily refer prospective students? Please contact Mrs. Leigh Duñgo-Tobias (ABHBA '98) at ltobias at uap.edu.ph.

Update your info

Like any mother, your alma mater wants to always know where you are and what you're doing. Ok, ok, maybe it's not exactly the same. But it really is a great help when you update your record with us. And, unlike the typical doting mother, UA&P only asks that you update her at least twice a year. You may update your info through our online form.

Attend continuing education programs

Once in while, OAA organizes continuing education activities for alumni. There are also formal programs that you can attend: seminars by the Continuing Management Education (CME) department of the School of Management, and our graduate-only programs, where one can enter already at the graduate level.

Alumni Initiatives are long- or short-term initiatives whose main proponents are UA&P alumni, and whose beneficiaries are constituents or beneficiaries of UA&P. AIs range from scholarship funds to reunion committees. Find out more here.

Work as a volunteer

In the same way as students can volunteer to help in UA&P activities, you also can volunteer your services to UA&P. Some alumni are active in the Chorale, Kultura plays, and in helping UA&P student orgs and the SEB. Others, who have more specialized expertise, volunteer their professional work. If you're interested in volunteering, please let us know at alumni at uap.asia.

Sponsor UA&P events and projects

Your employer or the business that you own can also sponsor UA&P projects like Fresh Start, the UA&P Job Fair, Civitas Asia, the UA&P Sports Day, alumni reunions, etc. If you think you can help UA&P through a sponsorship, please contact us at alumni at uap.asia.

Donate

Being a not-for-profit institution, UA&P sustains itself largely through donations from generous individuals and entities. We, the UA&P alumni, have a role to play here. Some of us can give huge sums of money, some can give little by little. Any which way, we can give.

You may deposit monetary contributions to one of UA&P's BPI accounts:

Account name: Univ of Asia & the Pacific Found Inc
Account number (Philippine Peso): 0201-0414-73
Account number (US dollars): 0204-0183-59

Then, kindly fax the deposit slip, together with the following details, to 635-3141.
  1. Your full name (you may exclude this if you'd like your donation to remain anonymous)
  2. Your course(s)
  3. Your year(s) of graduation
  4. Where you'd like the donation to go
  • academic or financial scholarships
  • League of the Red Dragon Scholarships (for students who've balanced academics and varsity sports)
  • OAA operations
  • building fund
  • UA&P Eucharistic Procession
  • other areas you can think of
  • "general" if you don't have a particular area in mind)
If you have inquiries regarding donations, please contact us at alumni at uap.asia.
